Ordered May 14th and a well packed windshield arrived June 20th. Was notified via email the production team was running behind. The included instructions are very detailed and the return/warranty policy seem good. I was on the fence between returning the Medium (17 1/2″ vertical) shield and ordering the Large (18 1/2″ vertical) shield. I wanted to essentially eliminate all turbulence. It’s a motorcycle though so I don’t think this is possible lol. The airstream seams to pass just above my head just touching my helmet. The view over the shield is very good. I think the Large would allow me to look over the shield to the horizon but just barely. I value the view more than reducing the noise by a negligible amount. Road about 600 miles through rain in the past couple days. I would not want to have to look through a wet visor and windshield at the same time. Also, sitting upright and leaning forward allows the air stream to blow the rain off my helmet visor. The 5 position vent does seem to help keep turbulence lower depending on the setting. There is a low pressure zone as I saw water droplets swirling around in the pocket of space between my chest and handlebars. Fit and finish is good aside from some hairline air bubbles on the black backing around the mounting holes. I don’t care too much about that. I don’t have the chrome strip since I am not the original owner. I used stainless washers to distribute the pressure from the mounting bolts. I like the look of it better too black into black. If you’re similar to me 6′ 32″ Inseam don’t get smaller than Medium for wind reduction. Taller than 6′? Large would probably work for you to look over comfortably. Take into account I ordered a recurve option (provides 1.5 – 2″ of lift to the airstream). My photo of the instrument cluster simulates about how far over the top of the shield I can see.
